We believe in productions that excite audiences and artists together, that are risky in their theatrics, are a collaborative effort, and strive for a professional quality to the work. 

IN YOUR SPACE THEATRE

With a lack of suitable performing spaces, All the World's a Stage is taking its namesake seriously and looking at opportunities to present theatre everywhere.  The first two productions--"ART" and "The Shape of Things"--deal with the creation of visual art and so will be staged in an art gallery--The ARTS at Mark's Garage in downtown Honolulu.  Other plans for In Your Space Theatre include environmental stagings of Shakespearean productions, restaurant-based plays and of course plays that actually take place in a theatre.

ACCESSIBLE TO ALL

A vital part of our mission is to make sure that live theatre is available to everyone, regardless of income level.  All productions will have certain performances set as "Pay What You Can" to lessen the financial load on all in these lean economic times.  It's our belief that we need more "ART," not less.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

All the World's a Stage recognizes that today's youth are not only tomorrow's artists but also the main component of live theatre--tomorrow's audiences.  We are available to teach a wide variety of workshops in all areas of theatre.  For more information, email us at info@awstheatre.org

All the World's a Stage Theatre Company began in 1992 doing theatrical educational programming in the Pacific Northwest.   AWS produced touring programs on aging, HIV/AIDS, teen pregnancy and addiction for 10 years.  Now based in Hawai'i, All the World's a Stage is a multi-faceted theatre with programming in a wide variety of subjects and venues.
